Binge Box: Scary Good Flicks Just in Time for Halloween

Halloween week continues here at Reading Advised.  Today we’re stirring up a post of great movies we have in our DVD collections at all three libraries.  We’re sharing some video for all ages here featuring the slightly scary all the way up to the major horror movies we all know and love.  Check them out here and grab some snacks and drinks and have yourself a creep-fest right at home.

Tyler Perry’s Boo: A Medea Halloween

Summary:

Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.

Tim Burton’s A Nightmare Before Christmas

Summary:

FULL ON SCARY

These movies deliver some full-on scariness and are geared more towards adults.  If you tend not to want to have nightmares, then you might want to avoid these movies.  These movies are rated R for horror, terror, violence, and gore.

Ring Around the Rosie

Summary:

Following her grandmother’s last wish, Karen reluctantly travels to a remote, run-down mansion to sell the family estate where she grew up. She soon realizes that she’s not alone at the property. With every passing night as she rummages through the dusty house, Karen’s fond memories of her childhood turn into nightmares.
