How to Get a Digital Library Card

Do you want to be able to access our online entertainment portal at OverDrive?  Do you need a library card?  The Scott County Public Library is now offering online access with a Digital-Only library card.  Here’s how you apply:

STEP ONE:

Go to evergreen.lib.in.us 

 

In the lower left hand corner.  Click request library card.Evergreen Indiana Request a Library Card

STEP TWO:

When you click this link, this is the next screen you see:

STEP THREE:

Fill out the form with all important information.  We do need an email or contact telephone number to contact you if there is a problem with your registration.  Click SUBMIT REGISTRATION.

 

STEP FOUR:

You will receive your card shortly via postal service after registration.  Please allow extra time due to delivery issues having changed for the post office.

 

STEP FIVE:

Enclosed in your envelope you will find your library card and a sheet explaining how to sign up for the Libby App on OverDrive.

 

FINAL NOTES:

All cards are good through May 31, 2020.  It is our hope that library will be open at that time for some services.  Please note that after May 31, 2020, you will need to come IN-PERSON to the library to complete official registration and renew your card  Please bring a valid form of identification (driver’s license) and a piece of postmarked mail dated in the last 30 days for your two-valid forms of identification and will register you for a permanent Evergreen Indiana library card.
